If your friend's name isn't on the list and you've had no contact, it seems safe to assume that your friend didn't pass.

It's been 48 hours since results were released, so certainly you can call, e-mail or txt tonight or any time next week. Just because they fail the bar doesn't mean you cut off your friendship! They need you now!

But what do you do if Sunday rolls around, you can't find a friend's name on the list, and there hasn't been any contact? Should you call? Should you send an email? What happens?

Good advice. I took the bar in 2006 and worked out specifically beforehand with my classmates what we would do on D-Day Friday. We all agreed not to talk to each other until Sunday, and only then if both people in the conversation were on the pass list. We told each other that should any of us fail, we would leave that person to decide if they wanted to call/email, etc. That way everyone could deal with the results in their own way.

Good luck!
